Chatter box...

Well eventhough it has only been a month since I last posted a blog. There is soooo much to catch up on. Since then, we have gone on vacation...4th of July...and of course Isaac has grown soooo much!

But first and foremost I will talk about Isaac first...as usual! He is officially 8 months old. I just can't believe it, I know I say that every month but I really can't believe he is just 4 months away from a year old. My baby boy is getting so big and it makes me so very sad. But we love every minute we spend with him...he is the funniest kid. In case you didn't notice the title to my blog..."Chatter Box". That is because Isaac is such a chatter box it is sooo funny. I have tried to video some of it but as soon as I get the camera on him he just stops. Its like he knows what I am doing. Little terd! But Isaac now has 6 teeth...I know, is that not the craziest thing. So we DO NOT stick our fingers in his mouth. Because he will bite down and it hurts so bad. But he is such an active little baby. He is here, there and EVERYWHERE. I am thinking probably by the end of this month he will be crawling because he is scooting everywhere. I have to chase him down it seems. And when he is laying on his back he is constantly kicking his feet 90 to nothing. So I know once he starts crawling its going to be bad news for mommy =0). Well I have put some recent pictures below of Isaac because you know I take pictures of him like everyday. Hehe!

Vacation 2009
We went on vacation at the end of June to Destin, Florida. We went with Jacob's mom and stepdad. And we had a really good time. I had never been to Florida so I was super excited. Florida is so beautiful. But it was extremely hot. I think all we pretty much did was eat...eat...eat! But I guess that is what you are supposed to do on vacation right. So no need to feel guilty for that. Isaac did real well on the trip for the most post. On the way there he was such a good baby. He just slept on and off all the way through the drive there. But once we got there it was a whole other story. We brought his play pin for him to sleep in. So for the first two nights we were there he slept in that. And the first night he tossed and turned all night long, waking up every hour. And we figured it was because he slept a large portion of the day driving there. But then it happened the next night too. And he kept waking up at 6:30 a.m. Which is so unlike him, so we thought maybe he wasn't comfortable in his play pin. So we put him in bed with us the third night. And he slept all through the night that night but he still kept waking up at 6:30 a.m. And then the next night he woke up at 4:00 a.m. Oh my goodness by this point me and Jacob just figured we wouldn't get any sleep on this trip. Ha! But throughout the week we went to the beach and to the pool a couple of times. We went shopping and one day Cindy and B.J. rented a pontoon boat. It was so cool. Of course the water we were in had jelly fish in it so I was being a big chicken and I wouldn't get in the water. I got in for a couple of minutes and then I saw a jelly fish and I said peace out to the water. So me and Isaac stayed on the boat for the rest of the time. Which was okay, it was such a beautiful day that day...so we enjoyed it anyway. The last night we were there, me, Jacob and Isaac went out by ourselves to the Baytown Wharf. That was a lot of fun, we just walked around and went out to eat. So it was a good time. And on the way home Isaac was pretty good up until the last couple of hours. He was getting very restless and he was tired of being in his car seat...which I do not blame him at all. I was so tired of being in the car at that point as well. But I took lots of pictures...so enjoy!

On our way to Florida...he did so good in the car. Not sure what he is looking at in this picture probably me trying to get his attention...ha!

Oh there I got it! My sweet handsome little man.

Isaac in his new hat and shades...his cheeks look so fat!

Grinning for camera.

Yea...this morning he woke up at 6:00a.m. And me and Jake had to take him outside b/c he was being so loud we thought he was going to wake up everyone else. Little chatter box!

Silly boy...wearing his daddy's hat. He liked this hat better than his own.

He fell asleep whenever the boat was moving.

Ha! We were at restaurant and Isaac was being such a lazy boy...he would not hold his own bottle.

On our way home...You can't hear him but he is screaming...get me out of this thing!

4th of July
We went to the lake and ate catfish and watched fireworks. We had a really good time, but it was so stinking hot! I do not remember it being this hot last year. Then again I wasn't carting around a 20 lb baby either...ha! But our friends Danyle and Daniel went with us and they have a little boy named Spencer. There is like a 7 month difference between him and Isaac. So they always have fun playing with each other. When it came time for the fireworks I thought Isaac would just love them. The first few that went off didn't seem to bother him. We had him sitting in his exersaucer. And then a really loud went off and he looked back at Jacob and I and just started whaling. It was so funny. So I had him in my lap and he would just whimper when they would set off more fireworks. So I finally just laid him on my chest and covered his ears and he fell asleep. But we had a wonderful 4th of July and we hope all of you did as well. I took a few pics on 4th of July (of course) so feel free to take a look!
