Isaac's 6 month pictures...

Well I finally got Isaac's 6 month pictures done.  My friend Myra was nice enough to come over to my house and take them for me.  She does such a good job with taking pictures.  However my son was NOT cooperating this day.  He was soooo sleepy and did not want to smile AT ALL.  But luckily we got a couple of smiles out of him.  But I think they still turned out pretty good.

Half a year down...many more to go!

Well Isaac has officially turned 6 months ago. I know I say this in every single one of my blogs...but seriously where does the time go? He has grown so much I just cannot believe how big he is getting. But he is at such a fun age right now. His personality is really shining through these days. He loves to smile and giggle (like his mommy). He is very laid back, if it were up to him we would lay around the house every single day, all day long (again like me). But boy does he have a temper, he likes to tighten up his legs and arch his back. He then will proceed to hold his breath until his face turns red (definitely like his daddy...ha...acutally I would have to say that comes from me too...dang McKinnie blood). But he is definitely built just like his daddy. And he looks just like his daddy these days too. Which is okay with me, I just tell Isaac he looks just like his daddy except that he (Isaac) is cute...ha! He has got that big-o head, brown eyes, big belly and tiny hiny just like his daddy. I always say to him "You fatty fatty like you daddy!" Jacob isn't too fond of that saying but I get a kick out of it and so does Isaac. But sad to say Isaac has been cursed with my feet. It's like he has little fingers as toes, he is starting to learn to pinch with those things. And for those of you who have not seen my feet, its like having another set of hands...haha!

Not too many major milestones have been met since the last time I wrote. Except that he finally rolled over...YAY! Now he is such a wiggle worm. I like to put him on the floor so he can stretch out and play. The other day I put him on the floor and I think I was reading something and then a few minutes later I looked down and he was across the room. And he was just looking at me with his beautiful brown eyes and that goofy grin of his.

Well I took Isaac to the doctor on May 8 for his 6 month check up. Needless to say that was an interesting visit. I just recently bought Isaac a convertible car seat. Which is basically like a toddler car seat except that you can use it for infants rear facing in the car. Because he has officially grown out of the carrier. And I refuse to cart him around in that thing anymore. He is such a chunky monkey. But to my disadvantage I don't have the carrier to carry him into places, my hip is his new home now. Well I get into the doctor's office and they tell me that they need me to update Isaac's chart and that I need to fill out paper work. And I thought to myself, well this ought to be fun. Since Isaac cannot sit up by himself, I had to hold him in my lap and try to fill out paperwork. Well this is how it went...everytime I tried to write something Isaac would try to take the pen out of my hand, or the clipboard out of my hand. So then I decided to put him over my shoulder well then he thought it would be a good idea to pull my hair out and tug on my ear until I finally turned him back around...what a little terd!! Anyways, Isaac is now weighing 17.8 lbs. He is 28 3/4 in long and his head is 17 3/4 in. Dr. Readinger said that he is in the 97% for his height. And he is average for his weight, and his head...well...he is off the chart, the kid just has a big noggin! I know my kid is going to be the smartest with all of those brains that is being held in the huge head of his! ha!

Well I had a good mother's day! I didn't get really any personal time to myself. But that is what happens when you have 4 moms I guess right. Luckily my wonderful secret pal at church gave me a gift car for a spa and salon. So maybe one of these days I will get to use it. Well as some of you know I recently lost my camera. And I was just devastated so Jacob took me on Monday and we got a new digital camera. B/c without my camera well this blog would just be me rambling on about my perfect son with no pictures. How boring would that be?? So Jacob to the rescue!!!

Well that is all for now. I just recently got Isaac's 6 month pictures done, but don't have them back yet. As soon as I get them I will post them and let everyone see. But I have posted some snapshots below.
